Apparently the AP has managed to come up with a
method to determine and rank the
economic stress levels of US counties. Not surprisingly, many of the most economically stressed areas can be found in California. A bit more interesting is the list of the least economically stressed counties, which seems to have a very firm footing in
'Real America.' I will let the readers draw their own conclusions about why that may be. In addition to the list above, the data can be viewed visually via
heat map.
