Those interested in such things might want to hop over to The Volokh Conspiracy to take a look at what author Fred Shapiro believes is the definitive list of most-cited legal articles of all time. I don't want to steal Shapiro's thunder, but I will say that there are some very familiar names on the list, as well as a nod to those who think that there is a place for economic analysis of laws and vice versa.
