There, it was decided by the Office of Fair Trading that agreements tying pubs owned by big breweries to their suppliers are not anti-competitive. I have spent less time than I would like in Merry Ol' England, and the intricacies of any antitrust case are myriad. However, based on what I have seen, there are enough pubs on any given busy street to ensure that consumers have choices in their consumption there, and it is likely that this decision came out sensibly.
